Hi guys,

I was wondering if someone could help me change my default view for a map within the tour, specifically the zoom level.

I understand from looking through previous posts that I would have to manually change the Zoom factor via the skin's js script.
I have been able to do this opening up the skin via notebook and changing the factor from 14 to say 8 and saving it; however every time I open the tour nothing has changed and I can see that the factor has jumped back to 14 on the skin when I open it up again via notebook.

I might be missing something really obvious here, but how is the skin updated on Pano2VR once I've manually changed the factors and saved it?

Thanks in advance for any help; I'm still getting used to the software :)

Cheers,

Geoff

You can set default initial zoom for a Map element in the skin editor

Hi,

Thanks a lot for your reply.

I did think this might be an option in the first place but I'm struggling to find how to do this.

Could you advise where in the skin editor I can change the default zoom?

Many thanks.

Select your Map element on the left.
Look at the "Properties" panel on the right for that element.
Scroll down to the section called "Map", click on it to expand the map properties. Initial default zoom will be right there.

Hi,

Thanks again but I am still struggling to locate this as per your instructions.

I am using the latest version of P2VRPro (v6.b3) Windows.

What version are you using?

Ah that explains a lot- I had been using 5.2.5 and I thought that had been the most up-to-date version!

I've downloaded the 6.0beta3 and the zoom function is right there, perfect.

Thank you so much, I really appreciate your help.
