On Win10, P2VR 5.2.2 pro crashed -- just vanished -- after I had extracted and applied 5 patches, when I tried to create a sixth one. 2 or 3 hours hard work down the drain. Or is it? The patch images still exist in the patches directory. Is there any way to recover them? I do not think I could recreate the patch positions, orientations ans sizes with any accuracy.

WHEW... The patch images are still open in Photoshop and I can see the pan, tilt, roll and fov parameters in the metadata. So there must be a way to apply them even though there is no project file?

I've never used it but unless you've disabled the setting, your project will have been backing up every ten minutes. Worth a look I'm sure.

Hi Guys,
At the bottom of this page: https://ggnome.com/doc/pano2vr/beta/prefs-settings/
Is a twerking the setting video which looks at this with a bit of an explanation of how it works.

Thanks, guys.

The backup option was indeed on and I have found a backup project with most of my work in it.
Like many great features of P2VR, this one is too hard to find. How about adding a File menu item "open backup..." ?

Version 4 had a stand-alone patch tool. Hopki, do you think that can apply patches saved by version 5? If so, how can I get a copy?

Ooops, another problem: how to make P2VR re-apply the saved patches? That does not happen if I just save the panos.

OK, found it. Right-click on a patch hotspot, choose "update image". Now, that is REALLY obscure.
