A test of my YI360-video: Dragging the video into the tour browser, the video appears and I can drag it around. When I am clicking the playback-button the window gets black.

Hi Harald,
Here is a project that is using 2048px video width.
With 360 video its all about the encoding.
To date the best I have found is Photoshop and HandBrake.
In the download the video was run through HandBrake which also has a Web option to help encode for streaming.
Be aware not all MP4's are the same and work.
If you run your video through one or the other above then it should work.
However there is also a problem with higher resolution video in Windows.
It requires a good graphics card and codecs.
Download K-Lite Codec Pack

Hi Harald,
Using the video I provided, the car, 2048_1024.mp4.
So if you drag the 2048px video in the viewer you only see a black screen.
If you export this, knowing you see black in the viewer you do see a 360 pano, the generated preview image, but once you click the play button the browser window turns black.

Out of curiosity what happens if you drag the MP4 into a browser window?
Then try different browsers.
Do you see the video playing but not 360.

The preview image that is generated when you drag in teh video, it is a visible panorama and not just all black right?

Hopki

Hi Hopki,

I still can't get the 360°-video playing in the preview-window as you are showing here:

https://youtu.be/ACGiYqKP7_E?t=7m38s

The window turns to black and I only can hear the sound.

This happens with your demo-video and with my own.

What can I do?

Version: 6.0 beta2 pro 64bit
Revision: 16810/5.9.4
Build date: Apr 12 2018, 16:13:57

Windows 10 64 bit

If I drag my video in the Chrome browser, it can be played, but not in 360°- view.

Best regards

Harald

Hi Harald, have you tried to lower the bitrate to below 3Mbps?
Using:
Pano2VR PRO 6.1.15 pro 64bit
build 18116/5.12.2

Windows 10 x64
Human Brain v1.3

Hi Chu,

no, I didn't. How can I do that? I have a video with an overall bitrate of 80,7 Mb/s.

All my videos - 360° or normal cannot be played without black window.

Any idea, Hopki?

Best regards

Harald
