Hi Guys,
I'm just testing on whether the software is something for me.
As far as I'm super happy and as Pano2VR users, it is even relatively easy to upgrade.
But what I noticed is that extremely jerky autorotation. But only at a rate of 0.2 it starts to become liquid at.
But this is too fast for me and I would like to set as my panoramas, the speed to 0.03.
I have tested with 48 images in a row and only adjusted for speed.
You can see my attempts (the page will be deleted after the problem and only serves the following purpose of showing) under http://www.thelastexit.de/informationen ... /test.html.
I do not think that it is up to the trial, because a friend from the panoramic forum has the same problems with the Pro version of Objekt2VR.
If this problem is solved, the Garden Gnome has a license sold more;)
regards
Manuel

Hi Manuel,
Object2VR plays an image sequence so depending on the number of images in that sequence will depend on how smooth the output looks.
The faster you rotate the smoother it will look, for slow rotating you need the extra images so going beyond 72 images in your sequence.
Most find it expectable to use 36, 10º steps however 72 images will give 5º steps and will appear smooth at slower speeds.
This said there is a feature request in the bug tracker that may improve slow rotation speed smoothness, please see Issue #214
Regards,
Hopki

Hi Lars,
Just checking, "Panorama" I assume you mean object.
I use around 50 columns per object, this means you can run at a faster auto play speed but its still slow as you have many more images.
I know some go past this number, 60 seems logical.

Hopki

Shoot... I am totally sorry. I posted in the wrong forum. I did mean pano2VR and I did refer to a panorame... I will have to find an eqivalent post there....
But then again - the initial question of this thread describes exactly my problem and also refers to pano2VR (not object2VR)... this is also how I found this...
