I have searched the forum and the internet looking for a how to, to take the html5 output for cardboard and enable it's playback in a smartphone. TIA.

I hadn't found those cardboard docs thanks. I had seen some of the user comments.
The end result was to view from the internet with a smartphone and google cardboard. I output using the cardboard template, uploaded it to my server then tried the URL in safari ios10 on an iPhone with google cardboard. I didn't get any interaction with my panos, so I was looking for more tutorials on that part of the process.
