a continuation of this thread: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=11248&p=46112#p46112 as the digital agency / creatives get excited about what they want to include in a virtual tour of a car showroom project....
Is all / any of this possible?:
• "10 instances of "pinned / aligned" video in a single pano. Basically, someone "buffing" a car bonnet, when clicked, a "pop-out" video appears of them talking."
• "We will be producing a video game and supplying it in HTML5. Are you able to code this into the tour as a pop up?"
• "We would like to use stock footage for the [pinned / aligned] video of the dog and the vortex, as per: http://www.istockphoto.com/video/cute-l ... n%20screen"
• "On a TV screen (behind reception), we’d like to periodically update the tour with the latest TV ad. Is it possible to do this after the tour has been created?"
• For the jukebox, and the track that plays as you walk around the showroom, we’ve taken advice from a musicologist who has said he will supply the music as layered files. We’d need the capability to switch layers of the music on and off as part of the tour (e.g. by clicking a button on the radio)."
WIll be published in HTML5 only, and ideally using v.5 Tour Builder Toolbox elements....
thoughts please....

Reading what you want, I think the project would be very heavy in file size and not practical.
Why not just use 360 video and then have hotspots to open popup videos?
You can not have Alpha in videos, so the green screen dog will not work, hence why we use pinned/align video.

Hopki

Couldn't you make a 360video multi-node tour?stalwart wrote:

Embed it in an iframe?stalwart wrote:• "We will be producing a video game and supplying it in HTML5. Are you able to code this into the tour as a pop up?"
What's the issue for Pano2VR here? Surely someone on this forum has a dog and a vortex they can photograph for you?stalwart wrote:• "We would like to use stock footage for the [pinned / aligned] video of the dog and the vortex, as per: http://www.istockphoto.com/video/cute-l ... n%20screen"
Simply use same-size, numbered files referenced from the server and replace these files with renamed filenames.stalwart wrote:• "On a TV screen (behind reception), we’d like to periodically update the tour with the latest TV ad. Is it possible to do this after the tour has been created?"
Be aware that iOS will have lots of difficulty playing two sounds at once.stalwart wrote:• For the jukebox, and the track that plays as you walk around the showroom, we’ve taken advice from a musicologist who has said he will supply the music as layered files.
