Hello,
I am looking for opinions on http://www.matterport.com ? I am totally impressed with the concept and I was wondering how it might be possible to do a similar presentation using Pano2VR. Currently I draw up a floor plan fix it up in photoshop then install it in the skin. Works good but; not like Matterport.
Ideas please,

First tour behavior observation.
This is probably an interactive CADD (computer aided design) 'fly through' presentation. When looking closely I can not see any "people things" like newspapers on table, reading books and clothing articles on furniture. Home is too clean and tidy. Certainly is rendered nicely.
I do not think its a Adobe Flash presentation. [Right mouse click to see viewer attributes]

Draw up a floor plan in Google Sketchup Pro
and use the model in the skin
you can eaven place the model on Google Earth with a link to the Panorama

I do not believe this is a rendered Scene, as they are a vendor of a high-end 3D Camara...

It is 3D rendered, no doubt about that
take a look at Google Earth the 3D buildings there
they are most of them covered with photo skin on the 3D rendering

As someone who does 3D rendered tours, I can tell you this is not that. I have seen this program a couple of time. You take photos and it builds 3D geometry based on your images to reconstruct the house. That is how it gets that 3D model. When you are in the tour itself, it is actual photos.
I do rendered tours for the real estate market and this is a program some companies use. The agent walks through with their special camera and then creates the tour from that.
