Hmmmm,
Delete the folder and rebuild, in the HTML5 output there is a bin button next to the open folder button.
This is to refresh the project and only publish whats in the current build. But if you have manually added files to the output theses will be lost and will need to be added again after.

hi Martin,

will do - although clicking the "bin" brings up a dialogue box "You cannot erase the output directory, since it contains the project files!"

As I couldn't use the "bin" icon (as per previous post) I deleted all the tiles folders, .XML files, skin.js file, etc so all I was left with in the directory was each .p2vr file & the associated .TIFF file. Re-outputted each of the 10 panos, and I still have the "floating" tiles...

Hi Stu,
Can you do me a favour, can you add an output folder to your file path.
Example: output/

Also I seeing the wrong player: Pano2VR pro 4.5.3/10717 HTML5/CSS3 & WebGL Panorama Player
You need: Pano2VR 5.0/12111 HTML5/CSS3 & WebGL Panorama Player
If published with version 5.0.0

Hi Stu,
At the moment you have all you files in the one folder, so your output files, p2vr file etc, etc.
Pano2VR V5 by default puts all the images in a output folder.
So the default output is called output.

If you right click on the file path you can edit it.
So the suggestion is create an output folder for your output files.

Hi Martin,

Thanks for the "numpty" answer! Simple as that, eh? What do you think causes this odd behaviour & have you seen it before? I'm diving in head-first re-writing all my skins in v.5 now (since the still unresolved problem with the St George's Park fiasco!!) so was hesitant to leave behind trusty v4.5 that I knew so well......!

Will let you know how I get on with this when back in the office.

Cheers fella,

Stu

Yes when opening an old V4 project with V5.
All I had to do is delete the output folder and then rebuild.
V4 and V5 arrange the multi resolution files differently.

Odd, as this is one of the first tours I've generated solely from scratch in v5....:

anyhoo, draft all fixed and off to client - thanks Martin:

same thing has happened again. Tour built completely in v.5, with an "output" folder. Have deleted, and re-built, twice now, but still have the "floating" tiles. Opening scene is fine, it's all the others that are affected:

Ok.. agreed on 2nd panorama... I see lots of floating tiles.

V5 has a different files and folder structure than V4.

Did you delete the output folder before "create all" a new /output ?
Maybe you are generating double set of same tiles in 1 level folder for the 2nd, 3rd panorama.

Output | Multires | filename
Tiles are level cut, pathed and stored to several level folders and subfolders for each panorama. V4 only 1 folder for each panorama
Also verify the output file name path for -> tiles/$n/c%c_l%r_%y_%x.jpg I think this is the default tile configuration for V5.

Ok. Let me bugreport here...
I had a problem when I rtied to use the same tiles for flash and html5 output
I found that config tiles/$n/cf_%c/l_%l/c_%x/tile_%y.jpg
gives the result, relevant to tiles/$n/cf_%c/l_%L/c_%x/tile_%y.jpg for flash and expected output for html5 (accordingly to doc about placeholders).

I solved my task by using "tiles/$n/c%c_l%r_%y_%x.jpg" config.

Hints to TS:
1) try to clear output folder, swith the config, and rebuild
2) try to clear browser's cashe

Pleased - tiles/$n/c%c_l%r_%y_%x.jpg the Pano2vr V5 default configuration works for you too.
