it is a little bit confusing when editing the video ?

it is a bit dark here in wintertime
the green led are gimpal on
the Theta camera will level it self horizontal and even upside down
the gimbal are actually build for smartphones
but it will balance a THETA S nicely and even a Sony Action-cam

Theta series cameras are very useful but need some White balance help.
Most professional photographers carry a 'Grey reference card' on photo sessions. The Card is photo grey with a white / black label. In Photoshop or your favorite image editing software it is possible to color correct by telling Photoshop 'What is known White' and that will color correct the image. Issue is working with source lights... like prime light or natural light entering through a window. Flourescent, incandescent light complicates the image colors. Often images have a slight blue, or orange cast.
So I keep forgetting to take our grey reference card with me on photo sessions. I know I color correct our images in Photoshop... IF I can find a known 'White' object in our photos. Today I noticed that part of our monopod top spirit level is in the bottom of every panorama I take... so I decided to cut out a small piece white card and glued it near the level. Now I can white balance our image quite easily. It is simple modification to our monopod. TIP: when taking a panorama make sure to not put the white balance tab in the camera shadow. In the shadow will produce poor white balance results.
Our office lighting is CFL compact fluorescent and produces a slight orange cast image. By correcting the image white balance.. the corrected image appears natural.
After post processing our panorama we place a tripod cap in the 'nadir sphere bottom' and that covers the monopod equipment.

Interesting Unofficial Guides, instaling THETA UVNC Blender driver and more
Installing the Live Streaming Application
Edit: Richoc do link to the Japan download for some reason
here are the link to the English download
Live streaming mode uses an application such as Media Player Classic andVLC to play back video. At this time, images from the front and back lenses are displayed side by side, with the image appearing as if shot through a fish eye lens. When the live streaming application (UVC Blender) is installed and live streaming mode is used with a USB connection, images from the front and back lenses are combined and displayed as one panoramic image.
Skype and Google Hangout video also gets a panoramic injecktion
