I know, I know... but these really are such crowd-pleasers! I used this in a pano I showed to Fairport Convention a couple of days ago, and it's grabbed their attention more than the previous four or five years og shooting these at their festival.

KRPano can do these in HTML5, but I really, *really* want to be able to do it in Pano2VR.
Any thoughts?

Hi Keith,
This will be a version 5 feature when it is out of beta, but I can not say at this point when and which version it will appear in.
For now the only thing you can do is have a little planet image then on a timer fade out to the pano.
Using the external loader you can scale the image with keep its aspect ratio so good for all sizes of screens.

Hi,
Nothing special, just add the little planet image and on a timer face it out.
To better the effect have a timer on a screen tint. A rectangle used to cover the panorama and when the little planet fades out hide the rectangle.

Its not great but until Thomas implements this that the best I can come up with. Of course with a timer you can fade out, spin and reduce the size of the little planet using the logic blocks for scale, angle and alpha.

I would set up a variable true/false, default true. Use the timer when deactivated set variable value to false.
This in the little planet you can set the above to change when variable value = false.

Sounds interesting but not easy in P2VR 4

Thank you for the reply Martin, and if you''ll may do a screen recording tutorial I'll be more thankful :-)

All the best, great Martin.

hummmm,
In V4 you would just mouse click and change element alpha on the little planet image.
