For those who want to help translate Pano2VR I have prepared a translator package (Windows) (here you get Linguist for Mac OS X, most Linux distribution should include a Qt Linguist package ready to be installed). For the latest version of the language files please visit the current snapshot. You only need to download your language. To start translating you need to extract the zip archive into the Pano2VR application directory (e.g. c:\Programs\Pano2VR). After that you should have a subdirectory called "translations" in the your Pano2VR directory. This folder contains an application called "Linguist" which is the Qt translation tool and some languages with phrases pretranslated using the Pano2QTVR translations. Start Linguist to open the language file you like to edit, and translate the different text bits. Some strings contain a "%1" or "%L1" as place holder for file names or other things. You need include those placeholders at the proper place.
When you select "File - Release" from the Linguist menu the translation gets compiled. After that you should see your translation within Pano2VR (if you have selected your language in the "Settings" menu).
The complete Linguist manual can be found at http://doc.trolltech.com/4.3/linguist-translators.html.
After you are done please send me your pano2vr_<your language>.ts file so that I can include it into the next Pano2VR distribution.

If you prefer you can also edit the .ts files with a normal (Unicode!) text editor because they are plain XML files. This method works of course on all platforms but you can not preview the result within Pano2VR.

Thanks for your help!

Maybe in 'Flash Output' window mixed up - tooltips via items

Check it

1. Item - Change stage quality / show tooltip - Turns off bitmap filtering while moving to increase rendering speed.

2. Item - Change bitmap filtering / tooltip don't show

From Yahoo Babel Fish and about.com

http://japanese.about.com/gi/dynamic/of ... vista.com/

Perhaps these ?

Ok also is Okay = わかりました reverse translate means "It was understood" maybe try "Confirm" 確認しなさい reverse means "Verify"

cancel = 取り消し reverse translate means "Cancellation"

close = 終わり reverse translate means "End"

save = を除けば "If you exclude" maybe try "Keep" たくわえ reverse means "Storing"

discard = 不用物 "Unnecessary ones" or maybe try "remove" 取除きなさい reverse means "remove"

Hope this helps

The problem was that the file was named qt_jp_ja.qm instead of qt_jp.qm so the default strings haven't been translated. I fixed this now. Thank you for your help!!!

Thank you.

qt_jp.qm was put in the translations directory.
Afterwards, Japanese was displayed without translating.

Maybe, is Russian also the same?
The qt_ru.qm file is put in the directory.

Please excuse my poor English.

Those are already translated by the people of Trolltech and the translations can be found it the qt_<language>.qm file. For Russian the file was named correct so the pre made translations showed up, but at first not for the Japanese version. Now both should work correct.
