Hello,
Are there online tutorials available that show how to embed a Pano2VR tour in a native iOS or Android application? Has anyone on this forum successfully created a pano viewing app with Pano2VR panos?
Much appreciated.
Thanks,
Tutorial for Native Pano Viewing Apps with Pano2VR
Hi aeid,
My apps are free to download and you can find them here; Red 360 Panoramas http://bit.ly/red360panoramas - Experience the Highs http://bit.ly/SZivix
On my website http://www.redsquare.com/red360panoramas there's a blog post about how I create the pages for the Russian Far East issue in Red 360 that shows the setup for adding in the HTML overlays with the Pano2VR content.

It depends upon whether or not you want to code your app using XCode or use a third party framework. I've published several iPad and iPhone apps that incorporate Pano2VR panoramas using third party frameworks, primarily Oomph http://oomphhq.com/publishing-solutions and currently building two new apps using Mag+ http://magplus.com. You can also use Adobe DPS but that's really priced out of the market unless you are an agency or enterprise. Oomph is probably the most fully featured but geared to iOS while Mag+ allows you to build for a large number of platforms.Has anyone on this forum successfully created a pano viewing app with Pano2VR panos?
