iOS 7 issue - URL bar in the way

Q&A about the latest versions

Hey everyone,

I just downloaded iOS 7 on my older iPhone 4S to test out any issues that may occur to my tours. So far, I've only noticed a couple of issues. One, some images no longer span the width of my screen (should be an easy fix). The other issue, why I'm writing this, is the URL bar at the top stays at the top now in Safari. This is due to the new action for it to be hidden is to scroll down or zoom in to a page. Since the panorama isn't recognized the same way a page is (I assume), the URL bar and bottom page browser toolbar remain on the screen.

Is there a way to trick the OS to think the page has scrolled down slightly or zoomed in without screwing up the tour? That should cause the URL bar and bottom browser toolbar to go away.

I appreciate any suggestions in advance!

Thanks
Frank

Hopki, this is great - thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I don't believe i should have issues applying your solution.
