Yes. d7000 shadows are lot killed halftones in black (although I did with it many wonderful works) that do not even speak of the veteran D90 (it was better). This was one of my frustrations in the D7000. Thanks to your article, I today trip to the store and bought the D7100. The result is very positive.Just about the only issue I have had with the D7000 is that I feel it quickly crushes the black tones in an image. Shadows can become very muddy, very quickly. The graduation of grey tones towards black can be very abrupt.
While I am not so much Inters big pixels (Bigpx - and It is not claimed by many customers for market for conventional advertising panoramas).
thank you
Samples is not necessary. I already have this model.

For me "the body" was always expendable subject,
the main - it's lenses.

Hi,
I'm late to the thread but I use a Canon 60D with has a cropped sensor and a Sigma 8mm fisheye.
I take 4 around with a 7.5 degree tilt up which means I also get the sky in and one down shot. The stitching software I use has viewpoint correction which I use to stitch in the down shot.
Result output is a 10,000 x 5,000 Equirec image.
Regards,
Hopki

Sigma 8mm
At the edge of the lens, you can catch here is such an unpleasant LF.
Shot in the zenith sometimes eliminates these artifacts

I see the lens flare (LF). It isn't always the lens.
What shutter speed / aperature setting are you using?
I thought it was possible to shoot at a small aperature opening or faster shutter release speed to reduce lens flare.
We also use the tilt up 7.5° to close up the 4 images convergence area in the zenith. This also makes the nadir a little bit larger.
Also you can shoot bracketed raw 0, -2, +2 .. to reduce lens flare..

No. This is a feature of this lens f/3.5 ("the tail of a comet"). When the directional light falls on the surface thereof at a certain angleI see the lens flare (LF). It isn't always the lens.
For a long time there is one particular understanding of the use of this lens - with the use of certain permanent optimal values - f8 and aperture priority mode. Of course you can do more creative twisting of values on cameras, lens and your brain ... but the best of these values, you will not findWhat shutter speed / aperature setting are you using?

Tilt up owners usually use crop by a factor of 1.6x. Holders of 1.5x matrix is usually not necessary to use this method. We also use the tilt up 7.5° to close up the 4 images convergence area in the zenith. This also makes the nadir a little bit larger.
Also, I will let you in a terrible secret (lol) - the happy owners of the lens Sigma 8mm - know that exist loss in sharpness from the center to the edges
And when you use the tilt up - you practically give away a precious "foreground" into softness
Yes ... over the years it is workflow practice... and even more - a EVstep and sequence of framesAlso you can shoot bracketed raw 0, -2, +2 .. to reduce lens flare..
Also .. when they talk about the Sigma 8mm - perceive it as a unique and original. And forget that there are two models
I specifically gave examples of one interior used in different years using different models of this lens.
If you are a great expert, you can determine which is which model is used? *little hint was already above
The condition - one same interior in different years, one camera Nikon D90; Sigma 8mm lens

Nikon D600 + Sigma 8mm - not the most optimal solution.
Poor output - equi ~ 8000x4000 (or max. 9000x4500) like as Nikon D90 crop
For example: Nikon D7100+Sigma 8mm - It will give ~12000x6000
But there are advantages - take around 3x
