Levels option in media editor ?

Hi All

Can anyone direct me to any documentation\posts regarding the levels options in the media editor? Is this literally to set `layer` level of selected media? similar to flashificator ? are there any general guide\pifalls for usage? How does this relate to skin and other hotspots ?

I have done several searches but only could find reference to the multi resolution levels.

The levels option in the media editor controls the volume of any attached media.

Level: The output level of the sound. Maximum is 100% or 1.00 while the minimum is 0.
