Hi,
Thought I would make a short video showing in realtime a five node tour being built which has the following features:
  • Point Hotspots that face the direction of travel
Map with hotspots to jump to any node
HTML5 output with Flash fallback for non HTML5 capable browsers
What I wanted to show is the ease you can now build a multi node tour which the Pro version is all about.
The video can be found either in our Blog or on YouTube.
Regards,
Hopki

brilliant.
Will out old skins work in there just the same. Loathed to start this current project in V4, but might have a go anyway to see what happens.

Hi Rob,
The key with this is the "markertemplate" found in the new simplex skin.
However you can add custom graphics, it is a new way of doing things but will be much quicker in the log run as it does not matter about the map.

I hope to be doing a short video regarding the node marker tool. This when set up can switch maps depending on the Pano is being viewed so making a multi map tour will also be very quick.

Hopki

Hi Martin,
So my customised skins could be updated to run in V$ too?

Cheers, Rob

slight mods may be needed but generally speaking all should be fine.

Can't wait!! Working on a project that I've figured out a way of to do this, but with 45+ panoramas, it's been a little tricky having them all work.

I am very happy with the functionality of the new version. Way to go!
The version of the Simpex.ggsk skin you are using in the movie, is that available somewhere? Including the markertemplate and the normal/active markers?

Hi,
Yes version 4 has the Simplex skin with markertemplate.
The Changing colours of SVG tip has a download for all the simplex buttons including the map button.
The download also includes other useful SVG elements to use with Object and Pano2VR.

Hi Tong,
Yep, if you look at the Flash output you have a externalise check box, using this will separate the cube faces from the SWF so reducing its size.
However the better way to do this is use flash multi resolution so you get a Preview.

thank you Hopki, i understand
but it gives some disadvantages, like no ability to give direct link to specific panorama or it can be done?

Hi,
With the current beta the URL is

Code: Select all

{node1}

Code: Select all

{node2}
etc

Example:

Code: Select all

Mouse Click => Open Next Panorama => URL: {node2} => Target xxxxx
However there is a better solution in the next beta. :)
