Preloading Panos swf's

Hi,
I am trying to preload (in the background) all the swf's the user might click on whilst she/he is viewing a specific pano swf.
The trouble is that when I load a swf in the background, the current one stops working, you can see it but it doesnt respond anymor tuill you reload it. Is there an API call I can use to stop a loades SWF from taking over the actual/current swf?

This doesn't work with Flash 8 because I need a static class. You can only do this with AS3/Flash 9.

I can switch to AS3 that is no problem, the generated SWF#s are in Flash 8 though or is thet an update for Flash 9?

Yes, Pano2VR exports also Flash 9
