I am trying to test 360 video,
I follow all steps on tutorial (I think)
but I keep getting just a panoramic photo virtual tour

-transformed to 3x2 video frames:

no matter what changes i ve tried, (different flv encoders, different codecs) I m only getting a virtual tour of the initial equirectangular frame, that I use to set viewing parameters, and no video.

Hi
I have not made a video pan before, but I just followed Karyns excellent video and got yours working ok.
I think what you are missing, is it needs to be in the html page and have the js file.

I have attached the working project for you. As i did not have the first frame I have used a blank 2:1 rectangle as the panorama. Just unzip and add your 360.flv to the folder and all should work when you open the html page.

Hopki

Thanks for your hint Hopki.
It did work fine
- I was making my projects with the beta version, so i guess the issue is there
I reproduced Karyn's project you 've send me with 2.3.4 fine with all the changes, but with beta I could not make it work.
-The .swf created with the beta does not play the video somehow.

Short it out finally,
Beta seems fine - sorry for rashed conclusion.
It seems that input panorama picture had not the right ratio.
So it is usefull to get to know that a croped panorama photograph (non 2x1)
will not cooparate with a (non croped) 3x2 video
my test here: http://tinyurl.com/6xq8bot
pano2vr performs good on full screen,
and quality is mainly affected by internet speed only.

Another question: Is it possible to embed a video file
by its full path eg: www.mysite/myvideo.flv
even when the video is in the same directory so no issues with permissions apply.
When i try to embed it like this it downloads the video to the temporary files and tries to link it there.
Does the video embeding input on Pano2vr modifies the .swf or the embedobject.js? (so may i could do it manually?)
Thanks in advance,
Minos
