It seems that Flash9 panos with autorotation load VERY slowly and 'consume' a lot of processor effort.
This morning I uploaded one here <www.erikleeman.com/QT/fullscreen-english-DEVAL.htm> (it is the first one at the top of the page, select the Flash version) and some of the older PC's I tested it on have a nearly 100% CPU load with it. Has anyone else seen this too?

Regards,

erik leeman

edit: hmmm, it could also be the consequence of a quick-and-dirty trick I applied to make a Flash9 version of a High-res cilindrical pano.... All those black pixels that remain out of view must be loaded into memory just the same, and they must be making rotation of this one such a heavy task! Not such a clever way of doing it after all......

Just FYI:The cylindrical will work soon.... hopefully next week. This should solve this.
