Things I would like to see added changed to Pano2VR

I prefer to work with projects instead of separate panorama’s; For me a project consist of 1 or more panorama’s; It would be great to make links from a panorama to another via the mouse (or better via a system Hrvoje described).

For instance I’m working at a project of let say 6 panorama’s; It would be great if I could set all default parameters for the project in 1 place and only change values for individual values if needed.
Making a project for internet (with relative low-res and high compression) and after wards adding a high-res version for demonstration just a few clicks. (I know it is possible now to generate them both but I do not need always both versions)

It would also be great to add a parameter for offset at hotspot hyperlinks; When moving a panorama it is now a lot work; (every hotspot from every panorama needs to be updated and checked).

If interested I could make some proto-type screens to explain what I mean.

Thanks for reading my “wish list”.

Exactly. This would be an example of application for xml file editing.
Define your hotspot urls. Chaging you server location. Simply update the xml or text reference file relative to your panorama or project and everything is setup again.

Woudl be really a great profit upgrade.
Eventually someone is willing to develop it as an addon if thomas accepts things like that.

Fishey + Architectural View

Would definitely been worth thinking about implementing it.

Bump

Any possible news related to tour editor? ( wink wink nudge nudge )
Summer is coming, which means making a lot of tourist related panoramas for me,
which means even more time spent on linking those panoramas together. So I'm just wondering...

PS
I also wouldn't mind paying extra $$$ for new version with tour editor...

HTML5 Output !!!

Surprised nobody else has recognised the importance of this. :?

Since the new iPad etc doesn't support Flash (and probably never will), another way of showing virtual tours on all platforms is paramount !!!

Please be the first to do this Thomas - and make Pano2VR the industry leader !

My 50p worth anyways (pardon me, but I'm English !)

I'm with rod on this one, the quicker some one gets a decent ipad/iphone alternative player on the market the better.

I've had 2 people this week ask for tours that can play on the ipad!

Would love to see an HTML 5.0 output option :)

Just seen two posts above the same thing mentioned.

I think all features are needed to add. Screen Transition is most attractive option. With that, the screen look like an extraordinary so it is necessary to add. The another thing is HTML, it is the compulsory because all the site is depend on html. So you must be added this features. And movie input, mapping items,pre-load other screens are also required.

An easy way to have a group of smaller thumbnails for the additional panos available.(side scrolling?) Preload would be cool too, and the screen transitions.

Thomas,

Do you have a time line when new features will be added to the next beta?

I voted for multires & Google map integration, but now must add iPad / iPhone compatability as an urgent requirement.....KR Pano is creeping ahead with all these, and more!

I am being asked by some major developer clients (well, their web teams anyway!) about iPad / iPhone support, and I don't want to lose business if I can't offer it. At the moment, I'm offering watered-down KR Pano output, but I'm not clever / technical enough with script to amend the XML to achieve what I can with the Skin Editor. I KNOW it can be done with KR Pano & hand coding, so it's only a matter of time until I MUST take a 2-week sabatical and learn KR Pano / script / XML - unless you can provide a time line of when requested features will be implemented.......

cheers
