Seeing the pan value in terms of 360

I saw this posted back in 2009. I searched but couldn't find a solution. Does anyone have any thoughts?
I want to add a numeric value to my compass. Is it possible to display the current pan value ($ap) in terms of 1-360 rather than 0 through 179 and -180 through 0?

It is not currently possible to request this alternative range of values, nor do the math in the skin to adjust to this range.
