Gday all.

I am working on some panos which require a button to open or close cupboard doors.

I am going to have to shoot the pano twice and create a blended final final pano with the doors removed.

I would like to show the original pic doors closed, and then with a pic doors open.

Searching the forum I found a post that uses a placeholder $cur.

Is it best to use the 2 panos synchronised or is it better to cut out the parts as patch images and then reveal them (if possible.)

It has been a couple days, which way did you choose? The answer depends on a) your personal preference, b) your comfort with code, and c) the your desired result.

Synchronizing panos requires very much custom CSS/javascript experience - not for beginners. Once working, then provides a lot of control and is re-useable on future projects.

Patching images is a one-time custom task tailored to each project, and probably the way to go for most people. Use Hopki's "Pinned Hotspot Project" to get started. Click the brick under the dog sign:
