Hi,

I encounter a problem with pano2VR and searched the forum but could not find a simular issue.

I recently upgraded my PC with a new graphics card. I had an NVidia 560i card and swapped it with an AMD Ati Radeon R9 x280 card.
After this my graphics performance went up a lot ... but now it seems that the preview in pano2vr stays blanc.

Is this a known issue? It appears in al preview screens Hotspots, media and beeldinstellingen (pictureadjustments ?)
I'm using Pano2VR 4.1.0 on a windows 8.0 x64 PC

regards,

Arjan

Do the drivers for the AMD ATI card include 'webgl' and "CSS 3D" ??

I think 1 is for Flash and other is for HTML5 content.

If you go the manufactures website... look up the specifications for your video card.

Let me know what you find about your card specs please

Also in another thread here in the forum Roger Good provided
Local Configuration Fix for windows 8.1 and IE 11

Allow P2VR to open IE 11 and wait for it to fail to find the Integrated Server

Open the TOOLS menu in IE 11
Select INTERNET OPTIONS
Select SECURITY TAB
Select TRUSTED SITES
Select SITES

The URL of the Pano2VR Server should now be in the "Add this website to the zone:" dialogue box
you may have to "uncheck" the Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone

Now click ADD
the Pano2VR url will now appear in the list of trusted sites.

Close IE 11
Restart the Pano2VR Integrated Server and IE 11 will now work

Hi Dave,

Thanks for your fast reply!

It is not the preview you get when rendering a panorama that you get in a browser. Flash and HTML5 content show up perfectly
in firefox and IE, also the virtual tours are working as expected.
Problem is the preview you get to set hotspots and media content within pano2vr, also the google-maps preview and de pictureadjustments are
showing nu preview panorama.

Here some screendumps:

Hi,

Just to let you know I've found the problem. It's what you said about drivers that made me think. I looked into that closely and found out that
the driver installation never succeeded. There was a default windows driver running, dating 19-Jun-2012 ... after every attempt installing
drivers from AMD Sapphire, alpha and Beta the driver date stayed solid on 19-Jun-2012.

After installation of the AMD Ati Radeon drivers it looked like it installed everything correctly no errors. But after manually reinstalling the drivers from system-management really did install it. Now it works again !

Thanks

After viewing your screen dumps I understand the issue, but not the solution other than it was an windows default PnP driver install.

We upgraded to Win 8.1 on a 27 inch all in one and have dual monitors. Both are running ok.. but I would prefer using the Nvidia Geforce GT 750 M updated rather than the Win 8.1 default Plug n Play driver. Have to work on doing a manual driver install.

With the driver installation from Nvidia I had no problems, only the annoying update messages. It was the frequent display driver crashes (that I experienced the last 6 months) that made me decide to go to the ATI Radeon side. This card also can boost Photoshop performance just as Nvidia did.

Be sure to check the current driver with (for instance) HWiNFO64 to be sure, thats where I went wrong.
