Can someone explain what the Source 'Ativate' or 'Deactivate' does in Action settings?
Is there a link to where all of the Source settings are explained, I can only find http://ggnome.com/wiki/Skin_Actions and it isn't referred to in here.
Thanks!
What does 'Activate' do in Action Settings?
Hi JDoogan
This action is used with a node marker, it's very simple to understand activate = active state & deactivate = Inactive state. which means the current viewing panorama is the active one & the rest of panoramas are inactive, so this source can be used to show/hide particular elements or play/ stop sound in a particular panorama. as an example you have two nodes project and want to have two separate background music for each node then the action setting will be like this:
Marker template:node 1
Source:activate ----> action:play media ----> target:sound 1
Source:deactivate ----> action:stop media ----> target:sound 1
Marker template:node 2
Source:activate ----> action:play media ----> target:sound 2
Source:deactivate ----> action:stop media ----> target:sound 2
similarly other action also can be used like the show/hide element. check the attachment.
