Ptgui is designed to work on computers with multiple core processors. Like Intel Quad Core?

Pano2Vr and Pano2QTVR will work on multi core processors.. but does the software take advantage in faster multi processors?

Yes even 8 processors on a Mac the screenshots are from Windows (Swedish) Dual Core .
It is extremely powerful ! an Intel quad core 2.4 are not so expensive to day .You might have to make a bios upgrade first to make it run

For Vista Home Premimum it is in the Task Manager toolbar item called "VIEW".

Here I can see a graph showing activities from both CPU's.

Have not found the check box for 1 cpu or 2 cpu's

About Task Manager
All right we made a small Video Screen cast (on Swedish OS sorry)
In Windows Vista you have to run the program as administrator
to customise these settings
The video lies on this LINK :!:

while continue to search on Gogogo...

The UniProcessor ACPI HAL is in use by WinXP, not the multiprocessor HAL

why I earlier, was unattentive to this problem

It is a difficult proses to make it an multiprocessor HAL
But the tools are on the Xp installation cd to do it
And it will make DUALCORE MIRACLES :!:
We always build our Pc and Linux machines from the best components we can get
I hate to tell it but factory installed images are as in your case an Uniprocessor installation on a Dualcore
