Hi
I would like to know the expected final release date of 4.5 version.
4.5 is in beta since a couple of months: from the forum discussions and from the log I see that a number of non minor issues are still open.
Of course I do not underestimate the development problems and uncertainties.
But - considering the growing importance of HTML5 and multires - it is rather urgent to know a "target" date for a stable release .
Also in order to properly upgrade my offer to customers.
Thx in advance.
Pietro
NOTE: I still use 4.1

At least to fix the multiresolution preview images issue asap.

Final release will not be soon, still have to go out at least 3-4 betas ....
Analyze the history of releases ... about next year... possibly by spring
But if seriously .... no one knows except God, even mr. Thomas

still on 4.1 here too. Rather perplexing that it's all so quiet.
Things are moving quickly out there in the wold wold world. This HTML multires stuff should be already in our toolboxes. I'm pretty much stumped with stalling clients.

Hi folks
I feel quite embarassed by the fact that my software provider doesn't give any answer to the reasonable question (at least I consider it is so) that I posted over one month ago.
Can you reply pls?
Thx and rgds

Hi,
As I always say have a look at the Road Map.
This is a good indication when you can expect a release.
If I get more information I will pass this on.
Regards,
Hopki

thx for your reply.
I know and I look systematically to the "road map".
It shows that Release 4.5.0b2 is 10% completed, other releases even less in %.
In fact without any timing indication the "roadmap" is merely a "to-do list" and it not really useful to plan any serious activity.
I still expect therefore that such info will be completed with some expected release date ...
My best regards.
Pietro
