Hi All, I have raised this point previously, with noone being able to offer a fix. To launch the virtual world from a single point, most opt for using a Map of some sort. This is usually a 2D FLAT image (which is imported as such into PanoVR). When publishing as Flash, this works no problem for the hotspots to select from, however when selecting .xml output for iDevices, the whole thing falls down as its forced cubic.
Please have a look at the example here: http://www.creaitken.com/Jumeirah/VR/Map.html on Normal PC or Mac and compare to when using .xml on iPad or iPhone.
Can someone assist me in getting this working? As you can see the hotspots in .xml are not in the right place and the whole thing doesnt work right. The only thing I have that works is to make an animated GIF "Jigsaw of the map and piece it together in table form ... painstaking and would love to have the PanoVR software capability.
