Hi,
I've just purchased a Freedom360 GoPro Rig and I'm starting to shoot some 360 Videos. I'm currently stitching in AutoPano Video 1.0 and playing back in Kolor Eyes. I'm wondering if Pano2VR can create a player that will allow me to playback the video.

Hi Tony,
Pano2VR needs the 3 by 2 video format.
Then that put into the image sequence and output to FLV,

Thanks for pointing me to the tutorial video. I did a test with the video and it works well, however it's quite a lengthy process creating the image sequence from the 360˚ video, transforming it, building the 3x2 video and then creating the swf. I know some of the other options available out there simply allow you to load the original 360˚ video without having to process it. Is this something that we may be able to do in Pano2VR in the future?

Hi,
Funny you should ask this as I had this conversation earlier today.
The reason Pano2VR used cubic inputs was to stop all the wavy lines produced in Flash 9.
Using a cubic image is still better but just needs to be able to build the sequence in P2VR.
Something I have suggested to the development, we shall see but for the time being you have to create the 3x2 image sequence externally.

Hopki

I am wondering the same question. After all, Thomas Rauscher, Garden Gnome Software did speak on June 11, 2013 in Iceland about "360º Video Live Streaming by yellowBird":amoscowdog wrote:...Is this something that we may be able to do in Pano2VR in the future?

EDIT: yellowBird has a recent 7/26/2013 demo, found on the yellowBird blog, of 360 videos with hotspots for Ikea. I imagine probably combining Pano2VR and yellowBird to produce something like this demo for my projects, however still researching as of today:
