Ok I am using the new skin test.ggsk in your existing project file.

New skin actions/modifiers look very similar to those listing in the old skin.

Please tell me where in the skin are you using /$uo/thumb1.jpg ??
Please point to tab and entry value space

I also checked the area and point HOTSPOT area in the project... you have not identified any hotspots.

In the mean time Ill keep looking in the skin

Insert note to self: Future reference information

Sorry for butting in guys,
I have uploaded a project using the p2vr and ggsk files from Kirby.
This all works for me but I had to modify the file path to include "$uo" in the remap.
This now looks like: output/$uo/thumb1.jpg
Now produces the "testfolder" in the output folder. This being whats in the User Data Comment text field.

So now the Remap creates the folder using the place holder and the external loader locates the image using the placeholder.
Still not sure why you want the skin folder is outside of the output folder?

Interesting to note, as the output for the remap has the $uo in the file path the open output button remains greyed out, this has been added to the bug tracker, but the files are created and the end result is that the thumbnail shows.

Regards,
Hopki

This can be found in the "initial settings" layer.

Yes, not hotspots. For now, just trying to isolate this single issue of getting the thumbnail to display.

Hopki:

I tried uploading your zip to a server and testing, but the thumbnail was still not appearing.

This is b/c we have multiple tours. By having the skin elements external, we only upload the skin once and it's done.

Kris:

I think this fixed it!! I will apply the changes to my regular skin to be sure, but I think this did the trick!

Alright, I *think* we've got the tough part out of the way :)

I'm struggling with one last point: for the thumbnail area, there are floating text boxes that appear on mouse-over. The text boxes are supposed to display the data for $ud and $ua respectively. Works fine in Chrome/HTML5 but no such luck with Flashfallback player.

I forgot to include a transformation to create thumb2.jpg, but if you duplicate your thumb1.jpg and call it thumb2.jpg, you'll have two thumbnails :)

Hi Kris,

No such luck - Now the thumbnails are appearing semi-transparent and the floating text is not working (both IE and Chrome). I tried adding your changes to the skin I uploaded earlier, so maybe I missed something? Can you please try adding your changes to the attached skin?

I'm actually testing this on a Client's web server so would prefer to avoid giving out the URL

Would either of these work?

- Would it be okay if I zip the contents of the tour and upload it here?
- I uploaded the most recent skin above.

Thanks again!! Sorry for all the trouble!

hi while adding file names/paths make sure you are entering them correct as they are case sensitive. find the attachment. And the transparency issue was you left the thumbs alpha value:.003.
