Hi
I rendered a tour in html5 multiresolution.
Works fine on desktop.
The problem: on smartphones the behavior to navigate with your fingers inside the panorama is somehow "clumsy"

By inspecting the html5 in chrome the following errors appear

Code: Select all

CSS 3D available, WebGL available pano2vr_player.js:48

I would appreciate any assistance.

Hi

Could anyone assist and test the above test-panoramas on his smartphone and tell if he experiences bad behaviour when trying to navigate inside the panorama?

thx

I tried both links on my iPhone 3Gs and they were really almost impossible to move more then one "pull" on the image. It seemed to not move after one move then I almost needed to wait until it started to spin again to pull it any other direction. The test-01 also had a weird problem where there was a slight white band on the bottom what cut off part of the nav buttons. The test-02 had it but within about 40 second after loading it went away where the -01 never went away. test-02 seemed to move further before hanging but still went dead to pulling any direction.

Photo attached of the screen with line on test-01.

Hi Addie

thx for testing, appreciate.
I'll post both test without a menu to see if problem originates from there as I'm using default html output with flash fallback

Hi
I think I found the problem in the menu (a placeholder bigger than necessary).

I generated a few new html5 panoramas without flash fallback
thx for checking on smartphone or tablet device if working.

So they all work on smartphones but not on my Sony Tablet S (Android)

The holy grail for one generic pano setting continues. See also my other post as even the Pano2VR sample does not work on sony tablet s.
