For a new project I am building a complex skin. My Skinsize is currently 800x400, because I work with many texts that you can click. Now, I have a problem with an iPhone and only see the 1/2 of the skin.
Is there a solution to adapt it?

Greetings

Thanks a lot!
I test it on an iPhone 4s. I have taken a resolution that you recommended! But what do you mean by the 326 ppi? Does my Panorama have exactly this resolution? Currently, the image is 300 dpi!

Greetings

I agree that I have not provided an answer. Do you have URL address so I can see ?

Definitions: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dots_per_inch

DPI = dots per inch used for printer heads for printing to paper.
PPI = pixels per inch used for desk top and smartphone screen.

"In printing, DPI (dots per inch) refers to the output resolution of a printer or imagesetter, and PPI (pixels per inch) refers to the input resolution of a photograph or image."

I think I said that correctly. Feel free to disagree.

Ok here is picture of 3 screens.

Smart phone screen 3.5" wide x 2" high. Note browser URL bar is not showing.
So with Safari URL toolbar showing will cut off bottom bottom of play field.

Bottom left corner 7 button menu .. bottom button is Anfart/ Downloads .. word "Downloads" cut off.
Far right and bottom of play field is borderline screen edge

iPad3 has enough screen area to show all
27" Monitor .. no question shows all.

In ALL 3 screens with different dimension and pixels per inch... the buttons and play field graphics appear to remain same size.

Possibly you can try to reduce the vertical buttons and play field to fit on Smart phone.. and it will still be large enough to see and read on all 3 screen types.

I made a Test with iPhone 4s.

http://upload.patrickjelen.de/Kunden/Test/Test.html

That means you just have a menu field of 480x320!
There must be an other option to have a menu of bigger than "480x320"!

Auto scaling?

Hi,
The skin must fit the smallest screen size, however making sure anchors are correct means elements will stay where they should, and example would be a set of button 300px wide anchored bottom centre will remain bottom centre regardless of screen size and orientation.
You can use the PHP trick to change the skin so an iPhone uses one skin and everything else uses another. Please see Here.
