no problem. You gave some suggestions that seem to work with some tradeoffs.
I will keep updated.

Ok, I can not reproduce this.
Suggest you make a project and upload, make sure the project displays the problem with your iPad 3.
This will be a common link for everyone to test with.

Other Forum users will be invited to take a look at the link.
We will see the results.
Also it may be an idea to zip up the COMPLETE project including all images and skin files and upload it so it can be downloaded fro use to look at.

HI Hopki
It is quite difficult to upload a real project including pano and pictures.
But you (and other forum people if they want) can access my webite: it is in a final beta version but in fact it is not yet public.

- In such website all single 360panos are corrected as per previous post (960 cube face in html5), they work fine with iPad3 but show a "low resolution" in html5 that I would like to possibly improve.
- Instead all 360panos contained in Virtual Tours section are in the previous state (1440 cube face in html5) and generate problems on (my) iPad3.
To see the problem of tiles corrupted and sometimes also browser crashes go to:
http://www.360visio.com/portfolio360/tour-virtuali/
and just navigate on the tours. Remember that the corruption problem does not come all times but with at least 10% probability. The crash probability is lower.

I will keep the Virtual Tour section of my website not updated to new settings for some days so you have time to make suitable tests.
Let me know if you need further details.

I viewed all scenes in all of the tours in my iPad 4. They all loaded quickly with no problems.

They are beautiful panoramas, so it was a pleasure to view them. :)

Hi Judy and Pietro,
Looking into this has turned up a few things.

So far its seems only iPad 3 is having the problem.
This we think it may be due to the new iOS6 and the way it caches different image files, Thomas will look into this later but has his hands full right now.

My own thoughts are it has the high res screen but not the processing power needed for displaying 3D transformations at any higher quality than the iPad2.
It has been tested and proven that panorama sizes below 2MB work fine, rotation is smooth and looks good, above 2MB and rotation is not so smooth, so a multi node tour with each 6 cube faces of a panorama below 2MB should run without a problem.

@ Judy, I will bug track text box scrolling issue.

Hopki
