Hi there, I have some questions on hotspot and target in Pano2VR.

I could use "point hotospot" and "_self" target to open another pano in HTML5 format. But...

1. I can not use "area hotospot". Does it work?

2. I can not use the target to specify "pan", "tilt" and "FOV", by "324.0/-3.5/70.0" format
which is written in User Guide. Does it work?

3. Also I can not use the target from other application Hype, by a Javascript "window.open("URL","target").
Does it work?

4. Then if I can use the target to specify "pan" etc.,
Is it possible to "use with" "_self" target to prevent new window open?

I am using Pano2VR 3.1.4 64bit cocoa, and MacBook Air with MacOSX10.8.2, and Safari 6.0.2.

Thanks.

Hi,
When making a multi-node tour you normally have one HTML page which is made with the first opening panorama.
In the Hotspot editor you can link to a file or an html page or url. If you link to a file then the Target becomes pan/tilt/FoV
If you link to an html page or url then the Target selects the way the page opens, self or a new window/tab.

Examples:
When linking to a file: URL: pano1.swf => Target 0/0/70

When Linking to a website or html page: URL pano1.html => Target: _self (open in sane window)
or URL: http://gardengnomesoftware.com => Target: _blank (open in new window)

Please see the hotspot tutorials and go through all 6 as this will show you how to use Hotspots: http://gardengnomesoftware.com/tutorial.php?movid=13_1

Hopki
