video in the skin

Is it possible to add video (MP4 or WEBM) in the skin ?

I know how to add Youtube or Vimeo video but I want to play local video in the skin. No video hotspot.
I hope I am explaining it right

And:
I set flash security to my HDD's but I still do not see the flash video hotspot. I can see the HTML5 localy but no flash. Help.
I tried all from this topic http://gardengnomesoftware.com/forum/vi ... f=6&t=7745 but still no hotspot video on my computer.

yes, I can see HTML5 version with webm but NOT flash version with MP4.

Thanks Tong, I'ill try it.

Now I can play my MP4's in flash version but not all. I have several MP4's videos and one is OK an the other does not play in Pano2VR. Probably codec problem or what?

My distorted video has ID : "video1" .

I'd like use button in the skin to control the distorted video. For example to hide, show, stop the video but name"video1" is not in the targed list.

How can I control my distorted media - sound, image, video with buttons in the skin?

HI,
Just type video1 in the Target text field.
The Skin can only list elements in the Skin, external elements such as your video in the media editor have to be typed in.

Ohh, of course I tried it, Hopki. Without succes and that is why I am asking....

I would like to hide one video and open another one in the same position.

I can play/pause the media with the button. It works.

But other functions like hide element, toggle visibility, change scale etc. do not work.

Hide element does not work even for distorted image.

Just mouse clik/hide element/video1 or dimage1 does not work.

Hi,
For this use the Hotspot Template and use the 3D distortion to pin the video. Then you can do as you require.
The drawback at the moment is video is not so nice in the skin editor.
However a way of adding video similar to the media editor is being looked into.

You mean to add video as hsimage for hotspot with enabled 3D? I am affraid I do not know how.

Is there any example?

is it possible to add button with function "pop up 100%" like in Media setting of Click mode?

I would like to call this function by a button from skin editor.

I have in this example video with click mode - play/pasue. But I want to add a button next the screen with function "pop up 100%" or fullscreen if you want.

Hi,
Please find attached a Flash version, cant get it to work with HTML5 as you have to use an iframe and load an HTML page with video.
The Flash version has a SWF container and the mp4 video as well as a SWF controller.
