Best practice: linking panos

Hey there.
We are trying to develop a full-screen HTML5 virtual tour with many panoramas. The panos will be linked via a nav bar that overlays the full-screen pano in the background.
Pano2VR does a great job of exporting panos in html & flash but what is the best practice for linking to different panos via AJAX?
