1. Align and distribute objects.
For example, several thumbnail images could be selected at once and aligned in a row or column and distributed by width by a single click of an icon in the toolbar.

2. Allow resize from all corners of a parent rectangle or container without moving children or without re-anchoring children. (Move group would be separate functions from a corner click-drag.)

3. Page Rulers and Guides
Horizontal and vertical guides with snap-to-guide function. The usual implementation is to pull the guides from page rulers.

4. Center guide visible on grid.
This would assist in positioning center-anchored elements.
