best software to stitch together panoramas

Does anybody have any suggestions on best software to use to stitch pano images together with prior to bringing into Pano2QTVR?

Well there's PTGui, which is rediculously cheap for the incredible things it can do, and then there are other programs that either cost money, some even rediculously much for what they can do, or nothing at all. PTGui requires (more than) a little effort to learn to use it effectively though....

I agree - PTGui is the best (although probably not the easiest to use) and is very good value for money.

If you want to try a free one, Hugin is pretty good (still beta software).

Pablo d'Angelo showed some neat color blending features with the latest version of Hugin.
The last beta of Autopano supports fisheyes.
And there is always PTGui.

Realviz has the funny idea to let you buy even the manual for 20€... :mrgreen:
