Background

To learn about hotspots I created a small virtual tour between three panoramas. There are hotspots from the opening pano to two other panos. I have hotspots in the non opening panos to get back to the opening pano.
Everything was working fine until I changed the viewing limits on the opening pano so the tripod isn't shown. When I did this this two hotspots changed to a blue icon (see attachment). I could no longer go from the opening pano
to the two other panos. When I start by opening the .swf file on the other two panos, the normal hotspot icon appears and works fine taking me back to the original opening Pano.

I deleted the two hotspots in the original opening pano. Recreated the hotspots again but still got the same blue hotspot icon.

Why did the normal red hotspot icon change to the blue hotspot icon. What does the blue hotspot icon mean?

John

My guess is that the blue icon means a broken link between the opening panos and the other panos. Making a change in the viewing parameters of the opening pano broke this link.
I don't know why deleting the hotspots in the opening pano and recreating them still gave me the blue icon.
Still learning

Hi John,
Do you see the blue icon in your skin?
If so could you do a screen print/shot of the skin editor.

No it isn't in the skin. It's in the .swf file.

The skin has the oval with the crosshairs that was created when double clicking to create the point hotspot.

Hi John
Open Pano2VR, in the output section you should have a Flash output.
Click this and with the Settings tab hi lighted, you should see to the right the Skin section.
In the Name what is in there?
Click the Edit button and do a screen print/shot of the skin editor window.

Hi
OK the blue icon is a graphic in the skin.
It should be visible, if it is not working, double click on the hotspot template, thats the white circle with the cross above the blue icon/graphic.
You should have something similar to this:

Mouse Click => Go To Url => Url: $hu => Target: $hs

OR

Mouse Click => Open Next Panorama => Url: $hu => Pan/Tilt/FoV: $hs

Hi
Then you need to add the extra code to make it work.
Mouse Click => Go To Url => Url: $hu => Target: $hs

Check to see if there is any actions in the blue graphic?
If so remove them.

Thank you Hopki

There were no actions associated with the graphic. I entered the extra code you gave me and now it works fine!
I downloaded this skin from the Pano2VR forum.
I'm exploring different skins to see which ones I like best. I very much appreciate the time you have have taken to help me with this problem skin.
I will more general questions for you on Pano2VR in the next few days.
