Within the last week I get a blank window when I create a flash panorama. I have never had this problem before. The html and quicktime panoramas output just fine.
I re-installed Mac version 3.0. I trashed the preferences and re-opened with new preferences and got the same results. I'm using MAC OS 10.6.7. See attachment)
What is going on.
Thanks in advance
John Blake

Hi
Hummm,
Have you upgraded Pano2VR to version three.
Have you Flash 10?
Open a web browser and drag your SWF in to it, does it display?
Have you updated your standalone Projector Player?
Can you post the SWF file?
Regards
Hopki

Hopki
Thanks for your quick response
To answer you questions
I am using Version 3
I was using flash player 9. Installed Flash player 10.3. Panorama window still is blank. Still says it is opened in Flash player 9.0. Where would Flash player 10 be located?
The panorama does display in Safari 5.05 when I drag the file to the place where you type in a URL
What is Project Player and where is it located? What version should it be.
I also have Flash Panorama player and Adobe Air installed if that makes a difference.
I will attach the .swf file
John

I don't know if this helps but more information
The adobe flash download page says that I have flash player 10.3 181.26 installed
I thought I had uninstalled Flash player version 9 but it was still in the applications folder. I dragged flash player 9 into the trash.
Outputted cube faces to .swf, html and quicktime.
The .swf output icon says adobe device central document. Before I dragged flash player 9 into the trash it said flash player 9.0 document. Where is flash player 10.3 that I am supposed to have?
When I double click on the ,swf document when flash player 9 is installed I get a blank window just like before.

Hi John
You can open the SWF in the web browser so thats good. When you right click on the panorama do you see flash 10?
Go to this page: http://go.2vr.at/flashplayer
This will have the stand alone players, Adobe call them Projectors
Download your Player, then right click a SWF file and set it to open with Flash Player App.

Thank you Hopki!!!
Downloading the flash Player App solved the problem. I can now properly view the .swf files created by Pano2VR.
The version 9 I described earlier that i had was version 9 of flash player App ,not Adobe flash player.
Could you please briefly describe the difference between Adobe Flash Player and Adobe flash player App. It might help me better understand why I was having a problem.
Thanks again

Hi John
its just a name, Flash Play and Flash Player App should be the same thing.
However..... Pano2VR version 3.0 will only work with flash player 10, for the moment.
It should work with 9 and 10, but with Flash Player 9 you don't gat the extras, smooth lines etc.
This will be fixed in the next release.

Different Flash players different functions.
From Adobes download page
Select for Mac or PC
Adobe Flash Viewer/player for a browser plug-in.
http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
Other versions select your operating system then download the approriate version:
http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/
or Windows, Mac, Linux, Solaris and Android
http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flashplayer.html
Adobe Flash Viewer/player that is called 'Stand-alone' player/projector. This one can be used without the browser. After createing a Flash pano, Pano2Vr calls this stand alone viewer to display your work.
http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplaye ... .html#fp10 We use a PC and the 10.3 Projector content debugger [not netscape] (EXE 6.50mb)
Adobe also has a Flash removal application. Run it and it searches your computer and removes all versions. Then you can make a clean install of both the browser and standalone flavors of Flash viewer/player/projector. uninstall_flash_player.exe (229kb)
