Hi,
I'm working locally on a virtual tour project. Since I updated to version Pano2VR 3.O, the adobe Flash security window keep popping up.

I have tried adding the files names and path at the Adobe Global security settings for content creators but to no avail. I just can't demo my Virtual Tour to my client with the security messages popping up whenever I change scene.
I didn't have any of this problem with the version 2 or the Beta version 3.0.
TIA

Hi Affendy
I have seen this before with some systems, this is an odd one, however the people that have experienced this just go back and set the security settings, I know you have said that you have already done this, but please check as up until now it has always been this. The trick is to make sure that your safe location is displayed in the list.
Please look at this tip with video: http://gardengnomesoftware.com/wiki/Fla ... y_Settings

Hi Hopki. Thanks for your quick response. Well… still doesn't work for me ;-(
A question though. Why is the security message popping up… the links are all local. No internet links on the files.
cheers

I had the same problem and following the instructions and adding "C:" as trusted area solved the problem.

Hi
As Gus has said this is the area to look at, if your Allow network access is checked, found in Flash Advanced settings, then without the local security set properly you will get this with local files. Uncheck this to solve this problem.
Can you do a screen print of the Flash security setting that shows what you have set as trusted?

It's unchecked. I tried checking it but my links won't work locally ;-)
I have installed the latest Flash player.

Ok, this is strange.
Try allowing access to your computers hard drive, so all location are allowed. Just make sure that the files are on that hard drive if you have more than one.

Hi did you resolve this yet? sorry not been here.

I take it the swf is contained in a html file?

you may also have to change the settings in your embed code for allowScriptAccess to "always" (in three places)
If that dosn't work, the most straighforward thing to do is upload them and demo a live verson or run a testing server on your machine.

PS - don't forget to change it back to "sameDomain" when it goes live!

Hi Noisy,
I finally got it ! I deleted the "Macromedia" folder in

1. library which contain shockwave 10 and shockwave player folders…
2. In user/library/application support

Voilà no more Flash security pop up window !

That's interesting. All I've got in there is a trust configuration file used by my ide which dosn't specify anything to
be trusted, and an empty folder. perhaps you had some hangover from an earlier player.
