Hi,
I´d like to create hotspots which open externally loaded images. I read the tut http://gardengnomesoftware.com/wiki/Pop ... _Narration and also the tut http://gardengnomesoftware.com/wiki/Add ... age_or_SWF but it doesn´t work. Can someone help me? It would be nice to have an example. Can someone please upload one? I haven´t found one here.
Thanks
Petix

Hi
Please find project attached, note for Pano2VR V3.0
When open, the three buttons:
Left opens an external image in the same folder on the server.
Middle button, opens the same image from the Support server.
Right button, open the image from my Hopki Media server.
Of course depending on your internet speed will determine how long it takes to load the 82KB image.
Regards
Hopki

Hi Hopki,
thanks for posting this example. I will try it immediately! In the meantime I found out how it works to load pictures with text fields in Pano2VR V2, but it seams to be more easier as you did it with V3.0
Once again, thank you very much!
Kind regards
Petix

i manage to get a link click image appear but what how making it disappearing when the pop up image is clicked on?
I added a child rectangle and overlay this over the "External" elements, have it to toggle it's "parent" off when clicked0. Made it Alpha 0.1, it works, when it is set to 0, the click stop working. It's treated as not loaded?

Hi
Please find attached project with fade effect.
Just set the External Image Loader to Visible and its Alpha to 0, then add to it actions, Mouse Click Change Alpha to 0, the External image loader.
Buttons now jus Change External Image Loader to Alpha 1.
You will be better off adding a Close button and having the change Alpha to 0 action in that rather than the Image loader its self as this will be more intuitive for users.
However this is a big but, the loader may fade in, however this time it takes to load the image, this may be missed, so still appears to just appear, the fade will work when closing, but this is depending on the image files size and internet speed of host computer.
