I have a two-pano tour comprised of panos taken at the same place on two different occasions. I want the alternate pano to load at the same pan/tilt/fov as the current pano.

Smooth suggested in a previous thread that using target of $cur would do this. I can't find a reference to the $cur code in the on-line documentation.

Yes, that is an option. One I have used many times before and if you use the target of $cur you can keep the same view on click to help keep it seamless as far as view is concerned.
On my skin I have a thumbnail image with action:
On mouse click go to URL (alternate_pano.swf) Target $cur

A mouse click takes me to the next pano correctly, but not to the same pan/tilt/fov position.

I have both equirectangular images aligned, and the default view set the same in viewing parameters of each pano.

What should I put in the Target field?

Very sorry, operator error. I had the wrong version of a panorama targeted.

However, while looking through some older forum posts I saw references to $cur in the Skin - Placeholders page. It's not there now. Has it been dropped?

Hi
$at/$ap/$af sort of replaced $cur.
This let's you select which elements you want to carry from the other pano where $cur does all.

Thanks. Good to know. I can see where that could be useful.
