I just tried the multiresolution but I do not get anything at all loaded.
The tiles are generated but all tiles are saved in the tiles folder even if I booked the 2 smallest to be included. The swf file is just 102kb.

Also I noticed that if I want to save the swf and html in another folder than the original pano the tiles folder is generated in the folder where the source panorama is.
They should of course be saved in the same folder as my other files.
However it does not help using same directory.

Hans,

See this thread.
There is a problem with the tif library Thomas is using in this BETA that effects MAC's.
I remember reading a work around, but as I don't do MAC didn't pay a lot of attention.
Try searching MAC TIF PROBLEM or similar.

I check it out. However the same equirectangular has no problem generating a 2880 standard flash panorama.

BTW I see now that the 2880 restriction has been reinstalled. Checked my last 2 versions and same. Why is this. Does Thomas not know that the max bitmap is 4095x4095.
I had no problems making that size a year ago.

Just check the box in Files>Settings to ignore Flash 9 Limit

Yes just discovered that it says only flash 9 in the output area. Must have lost my pref for that when I got my iMac.
I think though it should say 9-10 to not confuse. And it does not tell you that you are out putting a multiresolution.

Got it working after resaving with IBM. I must have used a file generated by Pano2VR before as it worked for standard flash. I have not used the IBM option in many years.

I can see that you can not just change skin and generate a new file fast. It generates all tiles ones more. Not even if I un book the option Generate files. Time consuming

I'm also having problems using Mac OSX 10.6.4 and Beta Pano2VR 3.

I'm trying to display very large (35000 pixel wide 350mb tif) panoramas in the viewer. If I save the tifs as Mac tifs they are black in the input window but by changing to PC byte order they are accepted. However - I then just get these wild horizontal lines in the browser window. :(

If this can be fixed to allow ultra high res files to be displayed, it would be awesome !!!

Any idea when this fix is likely to be as I would love to offer this service to my clients ?
