Hello
I have couple questions and suggestions related to domain lock feature.
- How much domains can we enter there?
- Is there any (number of characters) limit?
Issues:
If I add www.somedomain.com in in Domain field, when someone enters site with http://www.somedomain.com it works.
But if someone enter site with http://somedomain.com, site still opens, but panoramas doesn't work due to "wrong domain" error.
IMHO, domain lock feature should be rewritten, so that when somedomain.com is added in Domain field, both somedomain.com and www.somedomain.com should work
Yes I know that I could add this: "somedomain.com; www.somedomain.com", but with several domains added, that list gets lengthy and not easy for maintenance.

Domain lock feature
Your message has reminded me that I have experienced the same problem, and that I raised this in conversation with Thomas at the recent Panotools meeting, and he told me that if the domain is added in Pano2VR as http://somedomain.com the panorama will also display correctly if someone enters the site via http://www.somedomain.com - i.e. the opposite way round to how you are doing it at present.Hrvoje wrote:

I have just tried this for myself, and it works.

So that must be why my sister says she is sometimes unable to view my panoramas because of the domain lock. I had been enabling domain lock and entering my domain as http://www.judyarndt.ca.Mdholl wrote:somedomain.com
works fine as far as I know.
It’s the format given in P2VR documentation, so that's what I've been using.
-----quote-----
Enable domain lock: Enable this option when you wish to secure your panorama only to the specified domains.
Domain: Enter the domain to which the pano can only belong. Separate multiple domains with a comma: http://www.gg-sw.com, http://www.nytimes.com.

Perhaps the wiki could be expanded to explain the nuances of domain locking.
