Cannot set Pan limits

Post by AlanR » Tue Jul 21, 2009 4:03 pm

Pano2VR2.2.3 Mac OSX 10.5.7

Viewing Limits question

Hi - Any ideas why I cannot set pan limits when I can set tilt limits ? The word "set" is greyed out on the left /right boxes but not in the top / bottom ones. Source image is full 360 cylindrical but I only want to make a flash movie showing 270 or so....

Help!

Many thanks to anybody who can solve my (probably obvious stupidity) problem....

Alan,

If you know what the FOV you want you can enter this when selecting Input Type: Cylindrical FOV: 270
Your alternative is to set your Cylindrical panorama onto a 2:1 equirectangular canvas as I describe in this thread http://gardengnomesoftware.com/forum/vi ... 616&p=6428

Hopefully this will get you going.

Thanks mate - I had just figured this out moments before reading before reading your post!

Many thanks for the advice anyhow.

Cheers,
