best way to put a graphic over the tripod?

I was just wondering what is the best way to put a circular badge on top of the tripod at the bottom of a pano, instead of clone stamping it out. Would be to export a patch of the bottom and then put a graphic on top or is there a way to do it with a skin if it is the same graphic in the same place every time?

thanks in advance.

Hi,

Actually there are several ways to put a tripod cap in the panorama.

1. Using Pano2VR convert pano to Cube into 6 cube faces 0,1,2,3,4,5. Use cube face 5 photo of the bottom cube face. Open it in Photoshop and bring in your already created tripod cap on a layer. Flatten and save it. Then reassemble the cube faces back into a equirectangular image.

2 Use Pano2VR patch tool.

3. Pay $600 for a copy of Panoweaver and use its 'footer tool'

4. Use PTGUI and do an -90 remap and add your tripod cap. The convert it back by using a +90 remap. Then use Pano2VR to create your .mov or .swf flash panorama.

Any one know any more ? I remember a Photoshop tool that would do something like #4 Ptgui. Can't remeber the PS plug-in tool at the moment.

Is it SuperRune by Rune Spaans you're thinking of? Great tool, now called Super Cubic, gives you easy way of editing the zenith/nadir.

thnx Ramiro

1. Installing the equipment in most accuracy
2. Different WB (if need) around scene
3. Stitching with calibrate custom template (for my equipment) only Autodesk Stitcher
4. Enfusion sometimes (via Lr plugin)... often with composing mask on problem-solving areas
5. Color and other correction 80% LightRoom
6. Identical color getting via "Macbeth" (from control shooting samples)

7. Final make-up - PhotoShop (Spherical texture)
8. Post-production - Pano2VR

Absolutely... it's current camera...

noise vastly a less vs. my old D200... ISO 800-1000 comparatively for work (but with ISO 200 noise exist too)
What about CA?
Sigma 8mm - practically clean / "speedshoter" Sanex SuperFishEye has some CA (but this easy cleaning away in Lr)
