Hi everybody -

Is there any kind of effort being undertaken - or a even a suggested target date - on adding sound yet?

I've been waiting for 4 months to create all my VR's - because adding sound is very important to me.

I love the product - but really need the adding sound feature!

Kind regards -

Luke

Agreed Luke.

I've got a lot of stuff backed up too.

In fact, I haven't heard much from Thomas recently - still moving?

Hi list -

Another month has gone by . . . no addition of Sound yet . . .

I've waited nearly 6 months - since I purchased this product - as I thought it could add sound - when I purchased it.

I hate to purchase something else - as I DO love this program . . . but my Tours need to be up and online by July - and will still have to create and load them all by then . . .

Could you please let me know - if a target date of "ADDING SOUND" will be soon????

Kind regards,

Luke

I've been eagerly awaiting the sound feature as well, thomas even 'promised' the inclusion over a year ago! http://gardengnomesoftware.com/forum/vi ... =908#p3047

I have no plans to switch software since I've invested a lot of time in Pano2VR but I would really like to see sound anytime soon now!

Sorry that I must say - my clients do not want to wait probably yours not as well.

You should consider trying another possibility:

You can add music/narration, etc to the pano files by including it in the html file using the xspf player. Although the dynamic, directional sound is not yet supported. I have seen people include hotspot links that call on swf sound files with pano2vr.

I know, I know.... but now it is really near. Only some smaller things needs to get fixed. Here you can see a test with the new features. http://gardengnomesoftware.com/pano2vr_ ... demo=sound I hope to release 2.3 beta next week (depending on how quick I can fix the known bugs).

Thomas,

The test works great, I just can't wait to have a play myself. It's great fun trying to find where you have embeded sounds into the panorama (look out for the laughing below you).
