Hi all,

Struggling outputting a flash VR. I set the FOV to 120 with a window size of 800 x 400. However, the flash VR that results looks more like it has a FOV of about 50. I used the same settings with quicktime output and it looks fine.

Any ideas?

Cheers,

Do you use the latest Pano2VR version? Because with 2.2.3 this should be fixed.

Hi Thomas,

Yes, I'm using 2.2.3. Does this mean I don't have to learn action script 3.0? - struggling...

I've uploaded my efforts again here - www.visual360.co.uk/flash2.zip

the actionscript is in frame 285 of a layer calleds actions. If you could have a quick look I'd be really greatful.

Thanks,

Nick

Ahh.... so you are using Flash 8 export. The FoV limit is only raised in the AS3 / Flash 9 version.

Hi Thomas,

Thanks for your time. I'm getting there now, but slowly! Can you point me in the right direction to allow the full-screen button (from your skins) to work.

At the moment it's saying there is a SecurityError: Error #2152: Full screen mode is not allowed.
at flash.display::Stage/set displayState()
at SkinActionClass/toggleFullscreen()
at SkinObjectClass/doClick()

I was self taught with the bits that I needed to know about action-script 1 and 2. Changing to 3 is like tying my shoes with my left hand!

Cheers,

Nick

You need to set "allowFullscreen" to "true" in the embed line in HTML.
