OK.... I tried SWF movie making with SwishMax2... it's work inside pano as external module... BUT simple (maybe very important) command didn't working...

test button

Code: Select all

on (release) {
    getURL("pano1.swf", "");
}
from complex menu with 6 items (animation and thmbs images... not single clickable concept)

Any ideas (Flash CS4 or SwishMax2) for performing the loading command to other pano SWF (Like as Pano2VR command in Point HotSpot - URL: pano.swf :roll:

I would not expect any communication between the inserted .swf and the 'host' panorama to be possible.
I also doubt 'reaching out' by the inserted .swf, bypassing the panorama .swf, is permitted.
But then again, what do I know. Thomas might be the only one who can resolve these matters.

Using trial version of Swish Max2 I rebuilt my sample animated clock and exported it using the Flash 9 option. Filename is 100x100clock.swf is the Swish Max2 \Sample Clock.. resized to 100 x 100 px. I tried looking at this clock.swf using stand alone Flash 10 player and it plays as expected.

Then tried again in Pano2vr using the Button properties | mouse enter - show element, | mouse leave - hide element,| generated another panorama.swf using Flash 9/10 option. Still get a white box where the 100x100clock.swf should be located in the pano.

Looking at your above Button properties I suspect that

(.) 08-04-29Egmond hotspot (-300,75) target location in the editor
____[T] infohotspot.titel (-37,0) is the Text "Look Here"
____[T] 08-04-29Egmond preview (-78, -160) is the transparent .png 24
_______08-04-29Egmond button (-38,-104) is the button for which the code <scr= is entered

All the Targets are linked or pointing to 08-04-29Egmond preview the transparent .png 24

Guess I am missing some small detail.

Dave,

The actual flash has to be introduced via the Text option using basic HTML as shown in another thread.
Adding a "Clock" will not likely be very successful as you cannot at this stage "pin" the .swf to a 3D Map and it will float.
This would work "if" it is just a static display on the skin window but not as an immersive hotspot within the panorama scene.

Morning Smooth,

I did put in the Text Properties Settings tab // Text: ->> <img scr="100x100clock.swf" hspace="0" vspace="0">

Is there more to the img scr code string ?

the clock.swf, html, and the panorama .swf are in the same folder -- hence a ../path is not needed

Maybe "checked bg"?

(.) 08-04-29Egmond hotspot (-300,75) is the Hotspot itself, as created in the skin editor.
____[T] infohotspot titel (-37,0) is the Text "$hs", in this case showing "Look Here" as marked in the hotspot editor.
____[T] 08-04-29Egmond preview (-78, -160) is the Text <img src="...etc calling the external .swf file.
____ _ 08-04-29Egmond button (-38,-104) is the Button with the transparent .png 24 to make it invisible while covering the .swf.

Sorry for the confusing '08-04-29Egmond preview' name, it was a remnant from an earlier version.
I renamed it to 'Runner' since then.
'Runner_right' to be exact, because now I also have a 'Runner_left' : )

Maybe I should make some new screenshots.
However, it has become a lot more complicated as it is now, so that might not help either, hmmm

Question: is the text in those sceenshots readable? I can make them a bit larger if necessary.

Yes they are readable. I click save image of your screen capture collection.. saved it out as a new file name. Opened CS4 and printed the page at 100% view.
The printed page is quite readable.

It is the linkage that I am trying to get my head around. Also I found it necessary to make a real AREA or POINT hotspot and give it a proxy name like "thisreallyisahotspot" for it to show up in the skin editor.

Ehhh, yes there is, it's 'src' instead of 'scr'.
Maybe that's what went wrong?

Oh, and I don't think area hotspots work with skin editor features, or do they?

Cheers!

На.. 'SRC' - it's mnemonic reduction from 'SOURCE' :)

Hi, I saw that you answered many of my original question but maybe I expressed myself badly, I used a camera with a special lens to create a "panoramic video "... I would like to move the hotspot so that it can follow people who move within my movie ... Is this possible?
Thanks

It turned out that I misunderstood Simone, the OP of this thread. She in fact recorded a panoramic video, not a still VR composed from a series of photographs. What I think she wants to do now is to mark moving objects in that movie panorama, like for instance individual people, with a hotspot. So the clickable hotspot must continuously move with the moving object, like it was stuck on it with glue. That's something completely different from what we discussed of course. Can this be done? I really don't know, I've never made a panoramic video.
Anyone else? Thomas?

Regards,

Erik

edit: oh, I see she explained it herself already : )
