Hello,

I m gettin some troubles in Pano2VR7 on carboard VR.
I made a virtual tour in pano2VR7 that's work great on meta quest (in webXR I presume), but it is not wokring on cardboard or lookalike with a phone. Hotspot are not displayed and the small round target in the center of the view is not there on every node (direct access in url to test). It's seems to be unstable.

I opened it and genarated output in Pano2vr6 and that works great. So maybe there is some trouble with both Feather or Venis VR skins on cardboard ?

Hi,
Yes we know about this, our main objective was skins in VR headsets which works well giving VR menus and popups.
We need to look at phones which are on the to-do list.

Thanks for your support and your answer. Yes it works pretty well in VR headsets, except the ball size in meta quest, maybe there is a workaround ?
If you need some beta tester do not hesitate.

Hello Hopki,

We still have some troubles in VR on phones.
Some of the nodes are working, not others, with no idea why. Sometimes some appears after some time, some not completly (no icons...)

And more problematic for us, the poly nodes are not wroking in VR on phones,

If using a phone, don't use a VR Skin.

I have tried 3 outputs with different VR skin :

Yes, it works with no skin, but I can't know if my clients will be using a Meta Quest or them phone. We diffuse a really large amount of virtual tours to our clients each month, between 300 and 1000. They diffuse it to a lot of people for each virtual tour.
I am triyng to get the same experience on every device with a tailor made VR skin (with POI...) but it seems really complicated, the VR skin is lagging and not showing everything on phones.

How could I do a VR skin working well on all devices ?

Hi Romain,
This is something that we are looking into.
Apple's iOS does not work very well with WebXR, in our tests Hotspots are transparent, however, the VR skins work ok on Android and Headsets without issue.

By the way, we had the same result on Android right now.

Using Android and the feather_vr skin is working ok here.
What issues are you seeing?

Hi Hopki,

We have batch 2 devices, here is what we ve seen :

Huawei PSmart 2019
No skin : lag but it’s working
Feather : bigger lag, Nodes are bugging on hover (not fluide, animation not working well), some nodes are disapearing without any actions, sometimes coming back, no possibilities to go through some nodes.
Figaro : same as feather

Moto G5G de Motorola
No skin : lag but it’s working
Feather : little lag, everyting seems to work fine.
Figaro : same as feather

Hi Romain,
This is the issue with Android devices, there are many manufacturers with different price points and specifications, but everyone expects them to all work.
For testing, we use a Google Pixel 6a, which runs all the VR Skins ok using the stare navigation.
This was not the cheapest Android phone you can get but also nowhere near the most expensive either.

I tried viewing VR tour in Oculus it works perfect but in cardboard mode with Google pixel 5, it enters the VR mode, shows menu but in video hotspot -there is a problem. The moment I click the video icon, the black box appears for video and the audio from the video is heard but the video is not seen.
Can you tell me what could be wrong?

Hi Dreamfoot,
WebVR only supports MP4, which mean you can only use Video Hotspot types, File and URL.
URL is an MP4 on a server and not added to your project which would be File.
